Happy Birthday Stingray

Here's a card I created for a friend who's birthday is a long way off...but she loves Stingrays.

and the inside:

It's another card I made as Guest Designer for Fitztown Challenges

This week's challenge is #28 - Use Dies and/or Punches.
As you can see I used a diecut frame for the image, and also some punched circles and part-circles. I love the way the black and white looks on this card, and added a little bit of black/white ribbon to give it a bit more of a girly feel. Without that bow, this would make a perfect masculine card.

We have some fantastic prizes to be won from Fitztown Store.
We must have at least one entry with a Fitztown image to have a winner. If there are more than ten participants using a Fitztown image, the winner will be chosen using Random.org. If less than ten, there will be one winner chosen by Design Team (DT) Coordinator. In order to win the prize, you must use a Fitztown image.
Winner will receive 3 digis of their choice AND is responsible for contacting Fitztown to claim prize within seven days.
If there are a minimum of ten participants total there will also be Top 3 chosen by the DT Coordinator and these three will receive a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE offer.
If you would like to join our challenges and do not have a blog, you are welcomed to email your project to stampnscrapjunkie {@} gmail {dot} com and we will upload your project for you.

I hope you'll pop over and play along with us !!

  1. Wow, what striking impact this birthday card has Lynn. The black die cut frame and dramatic black circles have created a background to show the stingray image to such wonderful effect. Bold and beautiful are the two words that came to my mind as I first saw this card.
I'm sure that your friend will be so delighted to receive this very personalized birthday card when her special day arrives.
    Love Ingrid xxx ♥ ♥ ♥
