A boy birthday card

Here's a card I created using a wonderful Sassy Cheryl image. It's been awhile since I've made some boy birthday cards...or at least it feels like it, so I created this card for a little boy. I may add it to my cards going to Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children (if it passes the requirement of no choking hazard - not sure if the string is allowed).

I coloured it with copics and used a Kraftin' Kimmie Trinket for the sentiment. Pretty quick and simple, but I'm sure any little boy will like it.

I'm entering it in the following challenges:
1. Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #204 - Anything Goes
2. Creative Corner - Birdies

  1. So cute! Such a nice masculine card. How sweet to think of those in need! This card will be loved, I'm sure!

Thanks for joining us at Sassy Cheryl's!

  2. Oh, how sweet! Some little boy is just going to be loving this card . . .Beautiful.
Thanks for playing along in the ANYTHING GOES challenge this past week with my Sassy Gals!!!

  3. Oh the proverbial "boy card". Why do we have so much trouble making them. You knocked this one out of the park. Love it! thanks for playing in the anything Goes Challenge at Sassy Cheryls

  4. aww...what a cute image

    like your simple card
but sometimes less is more and this great image just speaks for itself :)
