From MEOW to you...

I created this cute cat Birthday card for the latest challenge over at Inspiration Destination

Challenge #23
Anything Goes
Sponsored by Bugaboo

I used the cute new image Chibi Cat Girl which can be found here.
I coloured her up with copics and kept the design of my card CAS (as usual)
I have been inspired lately by lots of crafters who decorate the inside of their cards, so I decided to do that for this card. The sentiment on the front and back is from The Stamps of Life.

I hope you like what I've created and are inspired to play along this week
at Inspiration Destination.

A little bit about my colouring journey...
If you've been following my blog at all you'll see that my colouring has improved in leaps and bounds since starting the Skin and Hair class.  over at Kit and Clowder.  I can't wait to get into the Clothing class soon (I've signed up and printed the class booklet, and done a little reading), and alos the All About Animals Class.

Here's a peek at my before and after images...
coloured after taking only part of the Skin and Hair Class

The Happy Couple

I created this wedding card for a friend of mine.

I used the image Happy Couple from Tiddly Inks.

I coloured thie mage with copics and kept the card CAS.

I'm entering this card in the following challenge(s)

Happy Birthday Baseball Boy

Here's a cute bag I made for the latest challenge over at

I coloured this cute Lacy Sunshine Image JOEY
with my copics.
He's a little stuffed boy/baseball player and I think he's just adorable.

I hope I've inspired you to play along and create a Bag, Tag or Box with us at BSCB.

February Mid-Month Inspiration from Fitztown

It's the middle of February and that means it's time for some mid-month inspiration for the latest challenge at Fitztown

with a twist to "have a heart" or use a heart on your creation

I used Valentine 13 for my card.

I had fun trying to use stippling technique on my bear.
In person this card looks a bit better than in the photo...it's hard to get the angel quite right to show the fur of the bear.

I hope you like it and I do know it's a bit later for Valentine's Day
this year but I will put it away for next year !!

I hope I've inspired you to play along this month for our challenge at Fitztown

Happy Brrrrrthday

It's time for another challenge at Come and Get it Challenges
Sponsored by Doodle Pantry

I had fun colouring this up, not just because I am a penguin fan, but because it's such a cute and fun image !!  I chalked clouds onto the white background paper to make the penguin really look like she is floating.  What do you think?  Did I succeed in making it look like it's floating?

I hope I've inspired you to play along at CAGI this week for the challenge.

A Vamp for Valentine's Day

I got to colour this SEXY image from Kenny K this week for the latest challenge at Inspiration Destination.

Challenge #20 - Anything Goes - Sponsored by Kenny K.

I used the image Veronica Vamp and it certainly put my Skin and Hair lessons from Kit and Clowder to the test.  The photo doesn't seem to show the shading exactly as it is in real life, but I'm still quite pleased with my colouring here.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us this week at Inspiration Destination.

A Fluffy Baby Penguin

I created this cute Baby Penguin card for the latest challenge at Inspiration Destination

Challenge #20 - Anything Goes
Sponsored by Meljen's Designs

I used the Fluffy Baby Penguin digi from Meljen's which can be found here.

I coloured him/her with copics and added some stickles to the heart.  I got some cutge heart doilies recently at Michael's Arts and Craft Store (on sale for 40% off - woo hoo) and used one to accent the image.  I had a lot of fun with this card and sure hope you like it.

I hope you're inspired to play along at Inspiration Destination this week.

Perfecting Pencils

Hey everyone, there's a new class over at Kit and Clowder.

has just been released and promises to be a wonderful class.

Many of you know I've been part of the Kit and Clowder Colouring Community since last Spring and have loved learning and growing with my colouring. I cannot say enough about Alyce Keegan and her wonderful classes.  She's an extremely capable colourist and teacher and has such a wonderful way of teaching that I believe allows everyone to learn.

I hope you'll pop over to Kit and Clowder and check out

PERFECTING PENCILS

A Sympathy card

I created this Sympathy card for the latest challenge over at

I coloured it with copics, matted in blue and adhered it to a white card base.  A nice CAS card.

I created a second card this week, as the Sympathy image above is no longer available at Stitchy Bear, so I used this image Heart Branch by Floppy Latte.

I hope you like what I created and that I've inspired you to play along at CYP this week.

Kraftin' Kimmie Birthday Challenge - Sketch 2 - Add Pink

Here's the card I created using this cute penguin image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

The challenge was based on this sketch...and a bonus element to ADD PINK

I'm pretty sure I don't have to explain the bonus element here (not like in my first creation)

This is the 2nd of 6 cards created for the Kraftin' Kimmie Birthday Celebration.

Kraftin' Kimmie Birthday Challenge Sketch 1 Distress

Here's the card I created using the image Gaia from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

The challenge was based on this sketch...and a bonus element of DISTRESS

Now I have to explain here, the DISTRESS side of this creation.  I have a Close to My Heart Distress tool, which very nicely adds a scuffed edge to things, and I'd hope to distress all the edges of this card.  I couldn't find it when I was creating this card, however I was VERY DISTRESSED by this, so I hope I get to count in the Bonus for this (LOL Kimmie)

This is the first of 6 creations for the Kraftin' Kimmied Birthday Celebration.
