Flowering in February

I created this card for the latest challenge over at

Vacation / Holiday, Travel Vehicles
Sponsored by All Dressed Up

I used the image Little Treasures from All Dressed Up
which can be found HERE.

Isn't this such a cute image?
I think it could be used for a whole bunch of occasions,
which is why I have left the sentiment off it.

The floral paper I used here is the P.S. I Love you paper pack from Kaiser Craft.

I hope you'll pop over to the Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge blog
and check out all the wonderful creations by the DT, and play along.

Have a BEARY Merry Christmas

I created this card for the latest challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges

(I know this isn't really a Teddy Bear, but it is a bear)

Here's a peek at the inside...

I used the image BEAR BUTT from Sentimental Susan for my card.

I hope you like what I've created and are inspired to play along with us this time at Holly Jolly.

I look forward to seeing your creations on the blog.

A Gentle Touch

This card was created using a cute image from Crafty Sentiments
called  A GENTLE TOUCH which can be found here.
Don't you think it's just the cutest digi??

I created this card for the latest challenge at Craft Your Passion

Anything Goes
Sponsored by Crafty Sentiments

I coloured this with copics and tried to add some furry bits, but sadly it doesn't show so well in the photo.  You will have to trust me that it looks pretty cute and somewhat furry in person !!

I hope I've inspired you to play along at CYP this week.  Don't forget to pop over to Crafty Sentiments and check out all the wonderful things they have for sale.

You're BEARY special

I created this card for the latest challenge over at Morgan's Artworld.

I typed my own sentiment for this card and think that's it's beary-cute...don't you?
Okay enough of the puns.

This cute image is so sweet and I thought it would be perfect the theme this challenge
For the Kids

What kid doesn't love cute teddy bears, right?

I coloured it with copics and added some sheer ribbon for a bow and we little wooden flower to the sentiment.

I hope you like what I've created and are inspired to play along with us this week.  You can use any image, but for a chance at a GDT spot, you must use a Morgan Fitzsimmons image.

Here's the link to the challenge so you can check it out and play along.

February Mid-Month Inspiration from Fitztown

It's the middle of February and that means it's time for some mid-month inspiration for the latest challenge at Fitztown

with a twist to "have a heart" or use a heart on your creation

I used Valentine 13 for my card.

I had fun trying to use stippling technique on my bear.
In person this card looks a bit better than in the photo...it's hard to get the angel quite right to show the fur of the bear.

I hope you like it and I do know it's a bit later for Valentine's Day
this year but I will put it away for next year !!

I hope I've inspired you to play along this month for our challenge at Fitztown

Bugaboo 5th Birthday - Animal Crackers (Friday)

Well the last challenge of the big 5th Birthday celebration at Bugaboo
is a Recipe Challenge - Carnival treats.

We had to pick a treat and follow the recipe for that treat.

I chose Animal Crackers and that meant I had to have an animal
on my card and also some Stickles glitter.

The image I used is one part of the Teddy Bear Block Trio
and can be found here.

I hope you've enjoyed popping over each day this week and seeing what I created for this fun

It's Friday and another Design Day for me at Fitztown

Can you guess the theme of this week's challenge at Fitztown?
If you guessed LOVE or Valentine's Day...you're wrong...

Challenge #43 - Pick a Holiday
I chose Valentine's Day (which isn't really a holiday, but it should be)

This week I had fun with the VALENTINE 13 image.

I created this shaped Valentine's Day card by printing the image fairly large and cutting it out.
Then I cut a back (inside) piece too and attached them together after
printing "Happy Valentine's Day" on the inside piece.
I also added some pearls to the heart to dress it up a little bit.
Here's a look at it inside:

I am very pleased with how this turned out.

I hope you'll play along with us for the current challenge here at Fitztown.

A new week...a new challenge at Fitztown

Hey everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Fitztown !

This week the Challenge #35 is Feminine creations.  Easy-peasy for most of us, as I suspect we all make lots of Feminine cards and projects.

My card this week uses a really cute Teddy Bear image which can be found here.

I coloured it with copics and added the flowers and lace to give it a really feminine touch.  I tried to do a stippling effect on the teddy bears and I think it does give a bit of texture to them.

I hope you like it, and I hope it inspires you to play along with us at Fitztown this week.

Have fun and Good luck.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Kit and Clowder - May Challenge - Flowers

A Teddy Bear Card for any occassion

I created this card for the latest challenge at Fitztown.
and here's the inside/side view:

The challenge this week is fancy folds and I had some fun creating this fancy fold card. It's so easy-peasy; you just use a regular A4 card and score the front in the centre at 2 1/8" and fold it back. You then decorate each panel of the card and attach the main image on the front. I used some ribbon and tied it before I adhered the front piece. Be careful placing your inside mat for writing; you don't want it peeking outside the square when the card is half open.

I hope you'll pop over and join in on the fun. Check out the blog for all the details and rules.

There's a chance to win some great Fitztown images.

Happy Birthday Bears and a new challenge at Craft Your Passion

It's time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion.

Craft Your Passion Challenge #205 - Go Green - Use green on your project and/or something recycled.

As you can see I used a lot of green on my card. I added the purple too, as I love the combo of green/purple. The only thing I kind of recycled was the bits and pieces of purple cardstock leftover from matting my image. I punched them with a circle punch and attached them to add some interest/texture to my card.

Isn't this image sooooo cute?? I just love it and can see it would make a great Baby card or almost any other occasion too.

I hope you'll pop over to the Craft Your Passion blog and play along this week for a chance to win a prize.

Happy Mother's Day Card

I'm submitting this Mother's Card for three challenges. The first is Meljen's Designs "what's the point" challenge, which is to incorporate something with points (hoping the banner with the pointy end counts, or at least the point on the bottom of the heart!!). This cute image is from Meljen's Designs. I used copics to colour it and addes Stickles to the heart to make it sparkle, which leads me to the 2nd challenge I'm submitting this for...The ABC Challenge - M - Make it Sparkle. The last challenge is Retro Sketches #62.
