Some outside fun...cuddling with a puppy

I created this tag/bookmark for the latest challenge over at

Theme - Outside Fun
Sponsored by Lacy Sunshine

I coloured this cute image Caroline and Millie and fussy cut her to put on this diecut tag.

I used the image Caroline and Millie which can be found HERE in the Lacy Sunshine shop.

I had a lot of fun colouring her up, and creating this tag,
which I may just keep for myself and use as a bookmark.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at Creative Knockouts this week.

A cute critter

Here's the card I finally finished in support of the Aurora Wings Fundraiser
going on to celebrate their 2 Year Anniversary.

I received this image (and another one) by making a $10 donation to the fundraiser.
All the details are here, and there's still time to donate if you'd like to.

I had such fun colouring this image up and then creating my card (some of the embellishments I used were sent to me by a very special animal-loving friend...you know who you are)

I hope you'll go over to Aurora Wings and check this out, and perhaps donate and play along.

Special Delivery...Happy Birthday

I created this masculine card or the latest challenge over at

I used the image Simon on Bike which can be found HERE in the
Little Blue Buttons stamp shop.

I coloured this image with copics and added a diamond plate embossed background to my card.  It's a wonderful embossing folder for a car-gal like me to have in my collection.
Here's a peek at the embossed background

I used a sentiment stamp from the Stamps of Life.  I'm pleased with how it turned out.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at Craft Your Passion (CYP)  this week.

Here's a close up of the pen-stitching

I created this card for the latest challenge at Come and Get it Challenges

Sponsored by Scrapper's Delights

I used the image GENIE SENTIMENTS 3 which can be found HERE in the
Scrapper's Delights Shop.

Stitching is one of my favourite techniques these days.
I have a secret to tell you about this project...
I did try to do "real" stitching on this card but it didn't show up and then time got away from me so I had to add pen-stitching to it (sigh).
It looks nice, but wasn't how I envisioned it when I started this challenge card !
Anyhow...I do hope I've inspired you to play along with us at CAGI.

Happy Easter/Spring everyone

I created this card for the latest challenge over at

Sponsored by Paper Nest Dolls

I used the image using Carrot Love Owen from Paper Nest Dolls

Don't you just love this image?  I had to use it to create a spring/Easter card.
I coloured it with copics and found some cool woven/burlap paper in my stash which I think gives it a basket feel.  I added a little flower and a doily to dress it up a little and it was done.
Overall I'm very pleased with this card.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at CAGI

I created this card for the latest challenge over at

Theme - Favourite Technique
(Chalking is something I'm obsessed with these days)
Sponsored by Oddball Art

I used the image Sara and Animal Friends which can be found HERE in the Oddball Art shop.

This week's challenge is all about your favourite technique.
While I love many different techniques, my favourite seems to be
chalking the backgrounds of my cards lately,
so this is what I've chosen to do this time around.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at CAGI
