I used the sentiment Friends are Flowers from the Mini Set - Flower Garden to create this card.

I coloured the tiny little flower and embossed a strip of cardstock 

and hand-stitched around the image/sentiment.

I coloured this cute little fox with copic markers and then
 hand-stitched around the image.
I used an old Stampin' Up stamp for the sentiment and a heart puffy sticker
from my stash to give it a bit more ooomph!

I used the image 80's Star Girl which can be found HERE in the Lemon Shortbread shop.

I coloured this image with copics and did stitching around all the bits on the card (with the exception of the star).  It is a labour intenstive thing to do as i have to hand pierce the holes first then stitch as I don't have a machine.

Stitching is one of my favourite techniques these days.
I have a secret to tell you about this project...
I did try to do "real" stitching on this card but it didn't show up and then time got away from me so I had to add pen-stitching to it (sigh).
It looks nice, but wasn't how I envisioned it when I started this challenge card !
