My card honours

I thought this image was appropriate as she is looking out the window,

probably watching the neighbours!

I used the image WINDOW GIRL to create this card.

I coloured this image with copics.

I had this lovely piece of yellow satin ribbon in my stash and just had to use it.

I used the image Guy walking dog which can be found HERE in the Bugaboo shop.

I coloured this image with copics
I hand pierced and hand-stitched the border of the card and matted it on a black card base.
I used a sentiment stamp from my stash of acrylic stamps.
This particular one is from The Stamps of Life.

I used the sentiment Friends are Flowers from the Mini Set - Flower Garden to create this card.

Theme - Paper Piercing

I used the image A Friend is... which can be found HERE in the Sentimental Susan shop.

I printed the image and pierced around it and the purple strip I added to the card.

I used some small metal flourishes from my stash to add a little pizzaz to my card.

I have forgotton how nice paper piercing looks, and really like how this turned out.

This was a wonderfully easy image to colour and create with.  

I must admit I played around adding different things like ribbon etc. to my card but settled on a relatively CAS design with a few butterflies and a doily.

A new challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog

Challenge #76 this week at the Brown Sugar challenge blog is to USE CHALK ! I created the background using chalk to create the clouds. It's super-duper easy to do...just punch two part circles with a circle punch, lay it down on your card base starting at the bottom of your card and working up, and chalk into the edges. I think it makes for a great effect.

Here's a cute Friendship card I created for The Brown Sugar Challenge #53 - Friendship It uses a Sassy Cheryl's image that I just love !! The sentiment is from The Stamps of Life. It's clean and simple which is starting to be my favourite kind of card these days !!
