Love Your Pet Day is today (February 20th)

It's time to share an Humour me Wednesday creation over at Catch the Bug.

I used the image Winter Kidz with cat  to create this card.

You can find this image HERE in the Bugaboo shop.

I coloured this image with copics and added at mat and used an acrylic stamp from my stash to add the "I love Mew" sentiment.
How cute is this?  It reminds me of my son who loves his/our cat so much.

I hope you like what I've created an are inspired to play along with us at Catch the Bug.

Don't forget we have inspiration from out Design Team all week long

Kick it up a notch...

I created this tab for my Happy Planner for the latest challenge over at

Theme  - Mighty Men in May
Sponsored by Kenny K.

I used the image Martial Arts Boy - Colour Image
which can be found HERE in the Kenny K shop.

This is a dashboard/tab in my planner which is reminding me to keep working at my exercise and healthy habits this month, and to "Kick it up a notch"...meaning work a bit harder as summer is on theway!!

I printed this image and diecut it in a circle, added a mat (which I coloured with grey copic marker to tone in with the trim on his outfit) and used another circle diet to cut the shaped black background.
I typed the words in my computer and added boxes around them and then printed and individually cut them out and placed them on my creation.

You Rock!

I created this card for the latest challenge over at

Theme - Recipe
3 patterned papers, 2 embellishments and 1 image
Sponsored by Crafty Sentiments

I used the image Henry Why Not which can be found HERE in the Crafty Sentiments shop.

I had a lot of fun with this card.
I used this really cute boy image (which reminds me of my son)
to create my card.
I decided to add stitching around the image and all the patterned papers.
They are all pierced and hand-stitched!!
Then I added the sentiment YOU ROCK! from an acrylic set in my stash.

I'm giving this to my son to show him how proud I am of him,
as he qualified for a provincial bowling tournament and could go on to respresent
Ontario in the National Bowling Championship!

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at
Creative Knockouts Challenge this week.

I coloured this image up with pretty basic boy-ish colours and double matted it...added a bit of string from my stash and it was done.  I love this little image and haven't decided what I'm going to use this card for.  It could be for just about any occasion.

Happy Easter/Spring everyone

I created this card for the latest challenge over at

Sponsored by Paper Nest Dolls

I used the image using Carrot Love Owen from Paper Nest Dolls

Don't you just love this image?  I had to use it to create a spring/Easter card.
I coloured it with copics and found some cool woven/burlap paper in my stash which I think gives it a basket feel.  I added a little flower and a doily to dress it up a little and it was done.
Overall I'm very pleased with this card.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at CAGI

A boy and his cat...

I created this card for the latest challenge over at Little Patch of Crafty Friends.  I have to thank my sweet friend Marion, who shared a tutorial on how she stitches on her cards.  I was inspired by that to stitch around everythong on this card (except the doily).  It's all hand-pierced and hand-stitched.  I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Sponsored by A Day for Daisies
and
and

I used the image Boy Kitty which can be found here in the A Day for Daisies Shop.

I just love this little image and am missing my cat who passed away a year ago.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at Little Patch of Crafty Friends.  Don't forget to check out all the wonderful sponsors, especially A Day for Daisies, the sponsor I received my image from.
