I added some sequins in a random fashion to jazz up the card, along with the shiny silver cardstock.

Now those of you who know me, know I LOVE cupcakes (and cake) with lots of icing.

This card certainly has my kinda cupcake on it...

can you imagine how heavy this cupcake would be in real life?  Oh my.

An Elegant Thinking of you card

I created this card to let a friend know she is my thoughts.  She's had a difficult few weeks and I wanted to make something simple and elegant.

I coloured it with Copics and have kept the layout pretty CAS.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #298 - Pink, White, Black 

School boy

I created this card at the Krafty Krop yesterday for World Cardmaking Day.  I just had to share it as it's with one of my favourite stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and artist Cheryl Alger.

It was made by stamping the image with Versamark ink, then sprinkling with white embossing powder to give it a chalkboard feel.  Don't you just love it.

Tracy Penney, a Krafty Gal is the designer of this card, and her card included the sentiment "Smarty Pants", however I will be using it as a Teacher Thank you card from my son at the end of the school year so I've left the sentiment off.

A flower for you and another challenge at Brown Sugar !

Here's a card I created with an image by Digi Darla called "Large Bloomer".

I thought this image was just lovely and can see creating a variety of themed cards (i.e. Mother's Day, Birthday, Thank you, Thinking of You, Get Well...etc. with it).
I embossed half of the yellow base cardstock, cut about an 1/8" smaller than the white card base. I used ribbon from my stash and added a big fancy button in the centre of the flower. The green leaves are from my stash and add just the right amount of sparkle to the card.

I had a great time yesterday at a Kraftin' Kimmie Kard Klass hosted by Ms. Kraftin' Kimmie herself. It was so great to finally meet Kimmie in person and also see her Kraftin' Kave (WOW !!) I was lucky enough to travel to St. Thomas (no it's not named after my son !!) with my pals Peggy and Amanda. We had an absolute blast...until the drive home, which was a little yucky due to the wonderful winter we are having (blowing snow all the way home)...thanks again Peggy for driving !!

Sooo onto the deets of this card...I created it using one of my favourite KKS - TINK !! Don't you just love her. So sweet and such a versatile stamp to use for cards - any occasion will work with this one !!
