I used the image Heart Balloon Girl which can be found HERE

I coloured this image with copics and added some chalking for the sky and grass, with a few blades of glass drawn on with copic marker.
It is going out to a special friend who recently lost a dear family member.
I hope she likes the positive feel to this card,
as that's my intent sending this cute image.

I used a landscape card and folded it halfway back on the front and added my matted / coloured image.
This is such a lovely way to create a card with a bit of interest.

An Elegant Thinking of you card

I created this card to let a friend know she is my thoughts.  She's had a difficult few weeks and I wanted to make something simple and elegant.

I coloured it with Copics and have kept the layout pretty CAS.

Well it's time for another challenge at Fitztown

This week's challenge #50 is Banners / Pennants.

Here's what I created with the lovely image Flower set of 6 which can be found on Etsy here.

I coloured this with copics and double-matted it to really make it pop.  

If you know me, you know I love CAS cards and this one is one of those !!  

I love how the image is so prominent !!

Thinking of you

I created this card for the latest challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog - #88 - Clean and Simple

These are my favourite types of cards; I certainly gravitate to CAS cards.

The image I used is Flowering Limbs from Robyn's Fetish.

I coloured it with copis and added some shadow with some pastel pencils (I'm new to this and it didn't turn out exactly right, but the flowers and stems do have some depth so I must have done something right).

Thinking of You...and another challenge at One Stitch at a Time

I created this Thinking of You card using a wonderful image from Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet.

I printed it in blue tones, and trimmed it up so that it had a white border, like an old-fashioned photo.
I printed the sentiment directly on top of the image using Word.

The card has a funky fold on it, which allows it to stand nicely but makes a nice change for a standard card.

Thinking of You (Cat) Card...

Here's a little card I created using a lovely Meljen's Designs Image. I coloured it with copics, and mounted it on a dark grey piece of cardstock which I embossed with swirls. A strip of ribbon finishes it of. I think it's a nice CAS card and would be good for a Pet Sympathy card, or just a plain old Thinking of You card.

His and Her's Card Class - Day 1 Homework

Here's two cards I created based on the first lesson in the online card class "His and Hers". I'm pleased with how these turned out. I made "Thinking of You" to follow along with the theme of the class and then I made "Happy Birthday" cards using the exact same design/products in both masculine and feminine versions.
