I used the image Bug Cat Love to create this card.

I coloured this image with copics and kept it CAS (Clean and Simple)

I left the sentiment off so that I can add something later when I decide to use/send this card out.

I created this card for my upcoming wedding Anniversay!!  

The best part is it's done way ahead of time, so I'm not scrambling.  

It's my 25th Wedding Anniversary on October 5th 2016!!

I hope my hubby likes it when I give it to him along with a  special

Holiday Chaos- Day 7 - CAS

CAS is the theme of this last day of Holiday Chaos at Catch the Bug.

I used the image Simple Santa - Candy Cane which can be found here.

I coloured with copic markers, added some stickles and used a sentiment from my stash of acrylic stamps. 

I think it turned out pretty nice.

I sure had fun this week playing along each day.

Thinking of you

I created this card for the latest challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog - #88 - Clean and Simple

These are my favourite types of cards; I certainly gravitate to CAS cards.

The image I used is Flowering Limbs from Robyn's Fetish.

I coloured it with copis and added some shadow with some pastel pencils (I'm new to this and it didn't turn out exactly right, but the flowers and stems do have some depth so I must have done something right).

A Valentine's Card

Here's a card I created for Valentine's Day. It's created using a lovely image by Sassy Cheryl. I coloured it with copics, double matted it and added a sentiment stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps (also by Cheryl)

K4K European Tour Challenge #6 - Italy (Tuscany Beach)

Here's a card I created for a Kards for Kids Challenge. We had a fun little European Tour with all sorts of challenges posted by our leader Bela. We had to use the image and papers provided for us and create a card. This one turned out pretty nice in my opinion and is pretty CAS.

Happy Birthday - Fancy Fonts

Here's a CAS card I created using a lovely Meljen's Designs digital Image. This card will be on it's way to Kards for Kids, HSC in the fall. I coloured it with copics, double-matted it and attached it to the same card base I used for the previous Happy Birthday Boy/Mickey Mouse card.

Happy Birthday Tag Card

I created this little tag using Stampin' Up Stamps, punches/diecuts and papers. I attached it to a plain cream coloured card with foam adhesive to pop it up. Its' pretty CAS which is what I'm gravitating towards these days !

Christmas in July

This is a cute little card I created using a new image I got from JellyPark Designs. It just so happens their challenge theme this week is "Christmas in July" so it works perfectly for that !! I coloured the image with copics, added some stickles, matted in gray and added it to a plain red card with foam tape to pop it up a bit...a nice clean and simple card !!

Christmas in July

Here's one of the 20 cards I created yesterday for Kards for Kids, HSC. The Smiley Team is in a challenge to create "Christmas in July/Tropical themed cards" for the kids at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. The image is from Bugaboo. I used the dot embossing folder and little colouring with copics and it's done...nice clean and simple card !! I'm entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - the theme is Ode to Sunshine, so I hope the fact that Santa is suntannig counts in this challenge !! CAS (Clean and Simple) Birthday Card

Here's a CAS Birthday card I created using a really cute Bugaboo digital image. I think this image could be used on a whole variety of cards (brithday, get well, Hello, Thinking of you, etc.) The picture is a little blurry because my phone battery wasn't strong enough to take a clear picture...the greeting on the bottom right of the card is from The Stamps of Life "Happy Birthday" I'm entering it in the Addicted to CAS Challenge ATCAS#13 - Brithday, which just so happens is sponsored by Bugaboo !!
