I created this little thank you card today. It uses a lovely image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I coloured it with my new Prismacolour Coloured Pencils, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I need a little practice blending with the mineral spirits but overall I'm happy with the results.

Let's Give Thanks...

Here's a card I created using a wonderfully versatile Sassy Cheryl digital image. I love how many different cards you can make with this image to suit just about any occasion.

I used copics to colour it in a sort-of monochromatic way to match the kraft cardstock I used. (the boat is brown-ish but photographed kind of pink - LOL) I also added the swirly embossed piece to give it a bit of texture. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I used stickles to give the water some sparkle and added the rhinestones to give it a bit of blingy-pop.

Christmas in July

Here's one of the 20 cards I created yesterday for Kards for Kids, HSC. The Smiley Team is in a challenge to create "Christmas in July/Tropical themed cards" for the kids at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. The image is from Bugaboo. I used the dot embossing folder and little colouring with copics and it's done...nice clean and simple card !! I'm entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - the theme is Ode to Sunshine, so I hope the fact that Santa is suntannig counts in this challenge !!
