Christmas Chaos has begun again at Bugaboo/Catch the Bug

 I'm so excited when this event happens at Bugaboo because it allows me to make some Christmas cards and of course use lots of penguin images!!!

Here's an overview of what's involved this week.

Totday is the first day here's the theme:

I created a card with a penguin dressed up to be a reindeer...what a fun reindeer game!!

I used the image Little Penguin Reindeer

The photo makes it look a little fluorescent, but it's not really..just a nice bright-ish pink.

I love using non-traditional colours for my Christmas cards, don't you?

I printed this image on kraft cardstock and then coloured this image with copics and added some NUVO drops for snow.  

I added some red/green/white twine from my stash and my card was done.

Another Christmas in July creation

This week we are celebrating Christmas in July at Bugaboo

Day 6 -  Thursday Photo Inspiration

Of course you are not surprised I used a penguin image are you?

I used the Image Little Penguin Winter Bench which can be found HERE
in the Bugaboo Shop.
I coloued the image and created a sentiment on my comaputer using Word.
I stencilled snowflakes on the background paper using glitter stencilling paste.
Ohhhh it's so much fun to play with.
Of course I kept my card CAS (clean and simple)

to create my card.

I coloured it with copics, added a hand-stamped sentiment 

and used a patterned card base that reminds me of candy canes.

Day 1 - Holy Florry of Chaos

Use Snow on your creation

I used the image Winter Penguin Trio

to create my card.

I coloured it with copics, added a hand-stamped sentiment and some punched snowflakes.

I found this great sparkle/embossed cardstock in my stash and it was perfect for this snowy-glittery card.

A furry friend...and some exciting news

I created this card for the latest challenge over at Aurora Wings!

If you pop by my blog on occasion, you know I love Aurora Wings images

and often play along with the challenges.

This time, I'm exicted to share that I am a Guest Designer for

Challenge #54 - Furry Friends

Eeeek...can you hear me squealing??

Of course it was a no-brainer which image I would use for this challenge.

I used the image The Little Penguin which can be found HERE in the Aurora Wings shop.

I coloured this with copics using my C1, C3, C5, C7 for the fur

and R46 for the Santa hat and stripe in the candy cane.

I used YG67 for the bow.

I embossed some red cardstock with little stars/snowflakes to give some texture to my card.

I used a stamp/die set that was gifted to me by a sweet friend.
I coloured the hat and sweaters for these cute penguins to match the colour theme of this challenge.
I used another die to create the snow-hill, and added some Wink of Stella to give it a snowy sparkle.

A lovely penguin Christmas card...

I created this cute penguin Christmas card for the latest challenge over at Season's Greetings.

Challenge #3

Always Anything Goes Christmas with Twist of Wet / Dry Embossing

I used an acrylic stamps set from Your Next Stamp

 I sued an embossing folder for the band across the middle of my card, and some

of my favourite new Nuvo drops for the black, red, white dots on the corners.

Penguin Love !!

Seriously, how cute are these two penguins??  

I just LOVE them.

I found this lovely image DEXTER IN LOVE at Little Miss Muffet Stamps Shop.  

It is a super cute image and I just know I will make a bunch of cards with it.

I coloured this image with copics and added some Wink of Stella to the hearts and snow

(it's hard to see in my photo)

I hand stiched around the image and the pink mat.

I added some cute acrylic snowflakes and some rhinestones to give it a little bling/pop.

Here's a close of my hand-stitching and also the acrylic snowflakes I added to my card.
