His and Hers Card Class - Day 2 Homework
Here's two cards I created for the Online Card Class Day 2 Homework. We were tasked to create a masculine and feminine birthday card using similar elements. I'm pleased with how these cards turned out. The stamps are from The Stamps of Life (turtle shells). The scripty greeting is also a Stamps of Life greeting, and the typewriter font Happy Birthday is from Stampin' Up.
His and Her's Card Class - Day 1 Homework
Here's two cards I created based on the first lesson in the online card class "His and Hers". I'm pleased with how these turned out. I made "Thinking of You" to follow along with the theme of the class and then I made "Happy Birthday" cards using the exact same design/products in both masculine and feminine versions.

Driving by with a Birthday Hi
http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.ca/2013/04/challenge-176-heat-or-dry-embossing.htmlI created this card using one of my favourite Kraftin' Kimmie images from the Going Places set. I coloured her with watercolour pencil crayons (instead of copics). The diamond-plate embossing template is on my wish list of things to buy, but luckily my pal Peggy let me use hers !! I am pleased with how this turned out and will be sending it out to someone in the Splitcoaststampers Birthday RAK Group I belong to (Birthday Random Acts of Kindness).
Happy Mother's Day Card
I created this card using a very cute Meljen's Design image, coloured with copics. I'm entering it in the following challenges:

Happy Birthday - Circle Card
Here's a card I created for a couple of challenges. It uses a Meljen's Design digital image (Happy Birthday with balloons); which I think is an awesome image 'cuz you can use it for any age or anyone !! It's created based on the Meljen's Design Challenge #157 - Sketch. I'm submitting it also for the Simon Says Stamp - Anything goes Challenge this week too.

Challenge - Meljen's Designs #156 - Recycle
I created this one layer card from a lovely Meljen's Designs image and added my own greeting ! The challenge was to add something recycled, so I added some twine that I use to tie up my newspapers. I hope this counts as recycled (at the very least it's re-purposed LOL). I made some other cards using this image, with a "Happy Earth Day" greeting on them for my sons teachers. He coloured the image and I created the cards...they turned out quite nice and of course the teachers really liked them.

Challenge - MAWTT Fantasy / Fairies
Here's a card I created for the weekly challenge at Moving Along with the Times Challenge blog. It's the TINK image from Kraftin' Kimmie and I just love her. She looks so cute in so many colours. I used stickles on the wings but it's hard to see in the photo. This card will also be sent along with my donations to Kards for Kids, Hosptial for Sick Children (Fairy Tale Challenges).

http://www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.ca/2013/04/simon-saystravelcityscapes.htmlHere's a card I made the covers three challenges. Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #175 - Tic Tac Toe (pink, gems, ribbon); Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Travel/City Scapes theme; My Favorite Things MFTWSC120 (sketch) I coloured the beautiful Kraftin' Kimmie image with copics and also coloured white satin ribbon with the copics to match! I haven't put a greeting on it, as I'm not sure what I'm going to use this card for, but it looks pretty cute even without a greeting.
Challenge - Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #207
http://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.ca/2013/04/challenge-207.htmlHere's a card I created for the current challenge at Cupcake Inspirations. The challenge photo was of a beautiful cupcake bouquet, so we had to use a flower/floral bouquet on our creation. I bought this digital image from Pink Cat Studios this morning and had fun colouring it for this challenge. The Happy Birthday greeting is from Stampin' Up.

Bugaboo Catch the Bug - A Bug's Life Challenge
Here's a card I created using a BUGABOO digital image. I think this little elephant surrounded by spring flowers and butterflies and lady bugs is so adorable. It could be used for birthay, get well or a cheery hello card. The greeting is a Stampin' Up image, and I used copics to colour it.

"Imagine all the people, living life in peace"...just about my favourite song lyric EVER !!
http://movingalongwiththetimes.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/inspired-by-song-or-film.htmlThis is a Kraftin' Kimmie Image Gaia that I just love...partially 'cuz it's a woman holding up the world, and partially 'cuz it's got a John Lennon lyric with it from the very famous song IMAGINE. I've created this card for two challenges. Cupcake Inspiriation Challenge #206 - Use sky blue, white and kraft AND Moving Along with the Times (MAWTT) Challenge - create something inspired by a song.http://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.ca/2013/04/challenge-206.html

Simon Says Stamp Challenge - April Showers / May Flowers
Here's a card I created for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge "April Showers / May Flowers". It's a lovely digital image from Meljen's Designs. I think it makes a perfect card for any occassion, but this time, it's a Mother's Day card !!
http://www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.ca/2013/04/simon-says-april-showers-andor-spring.html
Meljen's Designs Challenge #155 - Round and round
http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.ca/2013/04/challenge-155-round-round.htmlHere's a card I created for Earth Day !! I love this little EARTH image from Meljen's. The challenge was to use circles on your card, so I've got the circle earth as well as the circle around the image...it's a pretty quick and simple card, but I think it's pretty cheery...especially since we've been having a very winter/icy/yucky April so far...this certainly brightens things up.
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge #174 - Anything Goes
Here's a card I created for the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge this week. It uses one of the new KKS images "Anne of Green Gables". I crocheted the little gold/beige flower on the top left corner and attached a wooden button. This is a birthday card for my sister-in-law who LOVES Anne !! I'm sure she's gonna love this card too.

Two CAS (Clean and Simple) cards
Here are two cards I created from a digital image from Bugaboo. I like how they turned out and that they are CAS. I think this image is so verstatile and could be used for a whole variety of cards. The stickles really adds some WOW to the card, while still keeping it CAS. The sentiments are from The Stamps of Life. I will likely be sending these in for Kards for Kids, Hosptial for Sick Children in Toronto since they are single-layer.
I'm submitting these cards for two challenges:
1. Bugaboo - Anything Goes
http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.ca/2013/04/aprilanything-goes-challenge.html2. Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #205 - Polka dots

My 50th Birthday...
is today; wow I can't believe I'm actually 50...I had a lovely day spent with my hubby (and son after shcool) and rec'd lots of lovely cards (handmade and store-bought alike). The little girl I babysit in the morning before school arrived on my doorstep with these cute penguin cupcakes. She and I both love penguins...so I made her a little thank you card using a Penguin image from Meljen's Designs. I hope she likes it.

Kards for Kids - Mystical Challenge #9 - Jack and the Bean Stalk
Kards for Kids - Mystical Challenge #1 - A Blue Fairy
Kards for Kids - Mystical Challenge #4 - Wizard of Oz
Kards for Kids - Mystical Challenge #3 - Red Riding Hood
Challenge - MFTWSC118
Here's a card I created for the MFTWSC118 challenge (based on the sketch you see in the photo). I'm also going to be submitting it for the Kards for Kids Mystical Challenges (Challenge #1 - Blue Fairy). Because I'm submitting it for Kards for Kids it can't have anything that is a choking hazard, like brads or buttons; but I created little dots with my hole punch and added a wee bit of stickles to make them blingy.
Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Krop - Challenge #6
This challenge from KKS Krafty Krop was to use soft blues, greens, whites, wood and craft tones. I used my woodgrain stamp on the background craft paper and tried to blend colours with my copics (with not the best results) to get a greeny-blue colour. I also added stickles to the wings, which doesn't show up well in the photo. I used an embossing folder for the blue and attached a tag to the blingy-flower. I'm quite pleased with this card, and will likely send it out to some on the BRAK (Birthday Random Acts of Kindness) group I belong to on Splitcoast Stampers.
http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.ca/2013/04/krafty-krop-challenge-6-colour_6.htmlThis card also qualifies for the Moving Along with the Times Challenge this week, to use KRAFT on your card !!

Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Krop - Challenge #3 - Fussy Cut
Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Krop - Challenge #2
http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.ca/2013/04/krafty-krop-challenge-2-happy-birthday.htmlHere's the card I created for the 2nd challenge in yesterday's Krafty Krop. It uses one of the Going Places stamps and also a birthday trinket. The purple flowers are prima and I used copics to colour it, and added stickles to make the car sparkle. It's for my twin sister, who has a yellow convertible Mustang...and a birthday this week (yikes). This also qualifies for the Penny Black / All Sorts Challenge to use flowers on our card.

Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Krop - Challenge #5 - Gettin' Sketchy
http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.ca/2013/04/krafty-krop-challenge-5-gettin-sketchy.htmlHere's another card I created for today's Kraftin' Kimmie Krop. It was based on a sketch, and I feel it turned out pretty nice and was fairly quick and easy to create. Because this has the "blingy" flower on it, I'm also submitting it for KKS Challenge #173 - Flowers !
Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Krop Challenge #4 - Fancy Folds
http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.ca/2013/04/krafty-krop-challenge-4-fun-folds.htmlHere's a card that was created for the "fancy folds" challenge today at the Kraftin' Kimmie Krop. I used the circus girl image and folded the red polka dot paper to look like curtains...it turned out quite good, but doesn't photograph all that well.
Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Krop Challenge #1
http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.ca/2013/04/krafty-krop-challenge-1-bling-it-on.htmlThe first challenge of the day for the Kraftin' Kimmie Krop was to use bling. I used the TINK image from my pal Peggy T., and used stickles on the wings and three little purple rhinestones too. It's a clean and simple card that will make a perfect birthday or thank you card when I need one !!
I won...I won...woo hoo !!
http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.ca/2013/04/itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny-challenge-winners.htmlI won a challenge at Meljen's Designs !! Woo hoo...so excited !! Now all I have to do is decide which digitial stamp to choose...oh dear...there are sooooo many wonderful stamps to choose from...got check out their shop and see for yourself...and they have a big sale on now for their third birthday...AND MY BIRTHDAY IS JUST 3 DAYS AWAY TODAY...YIKES !! Just looked again and I won 3 digital images...woo hoo !!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #172 - Great Outdoors
Here's a card I created using the lovely KK Mermaid stamp. I coloured with my watercolour pencil crayons (something I haven't used in quite some time). I couldn't quite get the greeny-blue I wanted for the mermaid. The flowers are from Prima. I am pleased with how it turned out !!

Happy Easter Monday !!
Here's a card I created for a few challenges today. It turned out pretty good...I used the Meljen's Designs bunnies (which I've been using on so many cards lately); coloured with copics...used Kraft cardstock as part of the base and some old pink/green dotted patterned paper...I printed the "Happy Easter Greeting on my computer and created the banner on top. I popped it up with pop-dots. The flower on the bottom left is from a package of flowers I won at a crop (can't recall the maker as I opened it up and put it in a baggie). I hope things card brings happiness to you on this Easter Monday !!
