I printed this image and chalked around it.
I added some purple copic marker to the wings of the fairy and then went over it with my Wink of Stella pen.
I have been using my MAMBI Happy Planner a lot lately and needed a section for my goals.
This image is just perfect for that.

I coloured this lovely image with copics and am quite please with how the skirt turned out.  I
The "make your own embellishment" part are the three enamel dots which I made from beads melted in my oven!!
I added stickles t the wings (of course).

I used the image AIR FAIRY from SLS Lines which can be found here.

I used copics to colour the image and distressed the edges of my mats. 

I used inks to colour the canvas (blue, teal and green) 

and added some blue netting, 

rhinestones, string, wooden flowers and the lovely rhinestone swirl.

This is completely out of my comfort zone !!

I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

I used the image Luna Fairy 1 which can be found HERE in the Scrapper's Delights shop.

I used a nice musical note patterned paper for the base, on top of some lovely lavender/purple cardstock, and added some white with green polka dot paper to the edges of the image.
I then added 3 rhinestones to complete this RECIPE Challenge !!

Colour for a Cause fundraiser hosted by Aurora Wings, 

to help the endangered Numbat in Australia.

Use Navy, Pink and White on your creation

I coloured this lovely image by Lacy Sunshine using copics.

The image is called Fairy Godmother Sugi and can be found here.

I added stickles to the ruffly lace skirt under her navy skirt 

(but it's hard to see in the photo) 

and also made the pink hat sash sparkly with stickes.

I had fun with this colour combo for sure.

A little bit about my colouring journey...
If you've been following my blog at all you'll see that my colouring has improved in leaps and bounds since starting the Skin and Hair class.  over at Kit and Clowder.  I can't wait to get into the Clothing class soon (I've signed up and printed the class booklet, and done a little reading)

Fitztown Creative Inspiration

Well it's my turn to provide you with some creative inspiration for this week's challenge at Fitztown.

This week the challenge is Fantasy and I've used this wonderful new image FAE Fairy Cameo, which can be found here on Etsy.

I coloured her with copics and used some chalks to add some subtle colour to the background. I used some bling on the bottom corner of the card which reminded me a bit of the pattern in her dress.  The wings are blue/gray and have a touch of sparkle to them (but it didn't really show up well in this photo).

I had a great time with this image and even coloured her hair in a bit of a funky colour too !!

A Fairy nice clock !

I created this cute Fairy Clock for the latest challenge at Fitztown.

I bought a cute little clock at the dollar store and took it apart so I could put my own image on it.

It was pretty easy to pull apart by unscrewing the base.I

I pulled the arts off the centre part of the clock 

(I broke the 2nd hand by accident) 

and then I was able to colour my image, trace the circle shape 

using the glass as a template 

and then poked a hole where the hands go and I was done.  

I used little rhinestones for the numbers and chalked the background 

with blue and purple.

The wings are glittery but didn't photograph well.

It's Friday and another DT Day for me at Fitztown

I created this card using my new favourite colour PURPLE !  That's the theme this week at Fitztown

If you know me, you know PINK is my favourite colour, but I've been leaning towards a love of PURPLE lately, so I decided to create this card using purples with a touch of pink too.

I used the wonderful image FAE11 for my card.  Don't you just love her?
