Black and White Happy Birthday

Soooo this card was created for the Sassy Cheryl Challenge - #179 - Black and White Photo theme...WOW...was this challenge hard for me...because I only have two grey-ish Copics (and one died when I was using it on this card...so it's kinda SMEARY-BLENDING - ughhhh !! Anyhow...I managed to make it work by mounting it on a dark grey cardstock, then white, then a dark grey card base, with black and white ribbon added too !! I stamped the Happy Birthday greeting with a typewriter-like stamp from Stampin' Up ! Overall I'm glad it looks "okay" and that I'm done with this challenge (LOL) Sorry Cheryl...I do love your challenges but struggled with this one !!

    Really only 2 gray markers? Looks great. I don't know how you managed the shading. Good job. Leave it up to a crafter to improvise when they have to.. Thanks for sharing at Sassy Cheryls. Linda
