You are in my thoughts and prayers

It's time for another Saturday Challenge over at Catch the Bug.

Theme - Anything Goes

I used the image Beautiful Blocks - Thoughts and Prayers to create this card.

You can find this image HERE in the Bugaboo shop.

I coloured this image with copics and added it to some lovely embossed/glossy cardstock in my stash.  I added a few black brads to the top corner and it was done!

I hope you like what I've created an are inspired to play along with us at Catch the Bug.

There's lots going on at Catch the Bug (Bugaboo)
Hope to see you play along with one of our challenges!

Don't forget we have inspiration from out Design Team all week long

You are in my thoughts...

I created this card for the latest challenge over at

Theme - Fancy Fold
Sponsored by Bugaboo

I used the image Beautiful Blocks - Thoughts and Prayers which can be found HERE
in the Bugaboo shop.

I used a landscape card and folded it halfway back on the front and added my matted / coloured image.
This is such a lovely way to create a card with a bit of interest.
Here's a side view of my card

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at CAGI.

Dancing in Heaven...

I made this non-traditional sympathy card for a friend of mine who lost her Mother.  Her Mother was a quadriplegic for 37 years and she said that she was picturing her Mom young and beautiful and DANCING in Heaven.

I can't wait to hear her reaction when she receives this card.  I do hope she loves it as much as I do.  I really enjoyed colouring it thinking of her Mother finally free from her difficulties here in this lifetime.

A Sympathy card

I created this Sympathy card for the latest challenge over at

I coloured it with copics, matted in blue and adhered it to a white card base.  A nice CAS card.

I created a second card this week, as the Sympathy image above is no longer available at Stitchy Bear, so I used this image Heart Branch by Floppy Latte.

I hope you like what I created and that I've inspired you to play along at CYP this week.

Thinking of You (Pansy card)

I created this card for a friend to send to her friend who recently lost a loved one. It's a digi image from Stitchy Bear Designs
http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/

I love the simplicity of this card and will make several more to have on hand as it's always good to have some to grab from your stash when you need them.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

His and Hers Card Class - Day 3 Homework (yep I'm behind but catching up)

Here are two Sympathy cards I created for Day 3 homework. I used the "Branches for Flowers" Stamp set from the Stamps of Life. I feel that even though the flowers are blue on the one card, it's more feminine. I'm loving the challenge of creating feminine and masculine cards using similar designs.
