Happy Birthday

I created this masculine Birthday card for the latest challenge over at

Theme - Birthday Wishes
Sponsored by Fred She Said

I used the image The Old Truck which can be found HERE in the Fred She Said shop.

I coloured it with copics and used a card kit I received from a sweet friend at Christmas to create the card.

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at

for details on how you can get it.

Don't you just love this image?  It's perfect for those hard-to-find masculine cards we all need.

I hope I've inspired you with my creation.  Please pop over and grab the FREEBIE while you can.

Friday Inspiration at Fitztown

It's another Inspiration Friday at Fitztown.  Here's what I made to go along with this week's challenge

Challenge #45 - Browns.

I used this great masculine image SPORTS 9 which can be found here.

Who can't use more masculine cards in their stash, right?

I used some burlap strips I had on hand, coloured the image with copics and chalked the water and sky.  The enamel buttons are made by melting Perler beads in the oven.
They are a perfect addition to my card as they add texture/dimension without being too "girly".

I do hope you'll play along with us on this challenge.
It's pretty easy to use browns on just about any creation, especially a masculine card like this.

Golfer Guy...

Here's a perfect card for the Golfer in your life !!

I created it for the latest challenge at Craft Your Passion
Challenge #215 - Frame it

I framed the image with hand-drawn woodgrain kraft paper.

I sure had fun colouring this image and grass for the card.  I've purposely left the sentiment off the front of the card, as I'm not sure if I will use it as a Birthday or Father's Day card.

The image is from INKY IMPRESSIONS and you can find it here.

I hope you'll take time to check out all the other creations by the DT at Craft Your Passion and perhaps play along with us this week for your chance to win a prize !!
