I created this door hanger for my son's room
What boy doesn't want a Do Not Disturb door hanger, right?
It's for the latest challenge at Aurora Wings Challenge Blog
Here's a peek of what it looks like (not hanging on a door knob)
I just bought this image "Mischievous Little Lotus Sprite" today!
You can find it HERE in the Aurora Wings ETSY shop.
I coloured this with soft yellow/orange/brown tones
I wanted to do some pen-stitching around the edge of it, but son said he liked it plain.
I chalked a cloud-like background (which is hard to see in the photo)
I'm sure this door hanger will get lots of use by my son.
I hope you like what I've created.
I'm entering this door hanger in the following challenges:
Got a bit of a giggle out of this, Lynn. I'll just bet he's "meditating" when he hangs this on his door. LOL Love the monochrome and I do see the subtle chalking. Sooo cute! Thanks for joining our for 'Men & Boys' Challenge at Aurora Wings. xxD
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words Donna!
DeleteLOVE your sepia tones - they are done beautifully. Perfect choice of Sprite with his cheeky wink keeping out all comers LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanx so much for joining our "For the Boys/Men" challenge at Aurora Wings

Thanks Debbie for your lovely comment.
DeleteThis is such a cute door tag.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bunny!!
DeleteThis is such a great idea, Lynn! Every kid (once they reach that certain age) wants to be left alone, and I can totally appreciate this as a parent. LOL Perfect image to use for a 'do not disturb' door sign, and you colored it beautifully! Thank you for joining us for the 'for Men & Boys' challenge at Aurora Wings. Mitzi xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous door hanger Lynne! The image is adorable and so beautifully coloured.
