Thinking of You...and another challenge at One Stitch at a Time

I created this Thinking of You card using a wonderful image from Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet.

I printed it in blue tones, and trimmed it up so that it had a white border, like an old-fashioned photo.
I printed the sentiment directly on top of the image using Word.

The card has a funky fold on it, which allows it to stand nicely but makes a nice change for a standard card.

Here's what the inside looks like:

I hope you pop on over to One Stitch at a Time and play along with us, for a chance to win some great prizes.

  1. The funky fold is a perfect way to showcase this image, it looks great. Hazel x

  2. The unique fold on this card adds a lot to the overall design. Very nice!

  3. Gorgeous creation Lynn, love the embossing on the DP, so much texture but not distracting from the wonderful digi :) :) :) Hugs Jane xxxxx

  4. Hi Lynn, your card is beautiful! Love the embossing. Hugs, Sujin

  5. Lynn, I love how you printed it in blue. So beautiful reminds me of a snowy cold day and how you framed it up is wonderful. Love the blue and white colors just can't get over it. :D

  6. This is a great image Lynn - love your design and the fact you have made it all in blue! You must let me know if it is easy to print in different colours - I haven't managed to do this yet! Great card.

  7. Like the style of your card, the scenery image, blues & embossing. TY for visiting my blog & making a comment.

  8. I wonder if the cold snowy scene of this awesome card might have been inspired by the exceptionally cold winter in your part of the world Lynn. Certainly the Blue complements the snowy image and makes me feel the chill. Mind you, that is all that is chilly about this card as a "Thinking of You" card is full of warmth which is also shown in your beautiful embossing and what a beautiful fold. I love this very special card Lynn. Love Ingrid xxx ♥ ♥ ♥

  9. Very lovely. It does give off a Winter air! Maggie OSAAT Teamie

  10. Well I'm late but I still made it to tell you how fabulous your card the wintery scene and the wonderful dry embossing you've added to create just the right touch!
