Christmas in July - Day 1 - Sparkle & Shine

Hey everyone, it's one of my favourite times of the year at Catch the Bug...

Christmas in July!!

The week-long fun begins today and here's what I created

Today's theme is

Day 1 - Make is Sparkle & Shine

I used the image Christmas Jar which can be found HERE in the Bugaboo shop.

Jodi  has her Christmas images on sale for 50% off through the end of July.

 

I coloured this image with copics and added some Wink of Stella to make it Sparkle and Shine.

Here's a close up of what the sparkle looks like

I added a few little rhinestones and some twine to finish this off.

Don't you just love this image?  

I actually have a little jar with some tiny round ornaments in it, that I put out at Christmas-time, and this reminds me of that!

There's lots to do and you have a chance of winning some great prizes and possibly being a guest designer too!

I created this card for today's challenge - New Release 

+ Clean As Snow (keep it simple, no patterned paper)

I coloured this gorgeous image with copics and added Wink of Stella glitter to the ornaments.

I used a stitched die to cut out the image and added some bling and twine and it was done!

I created this ornament for the latest challenge at Holly Jolly.

I used this cute My Besties image which can be found HERE in the shop.

I coloured this with copics and added some wink of stella glitter to the dress and scarf, 

but it doesn't show in the photo!

You'll just have to trust me it look WAY better in real-life!

Isn't this ornament digi just so cute.  I couldn't resist it for my creation for this challenge.

I covered the bows and ornaments with stickles to make them sparkle, and believe me when I say this card is WAY nicer in person, than in the photo.

 Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge #37 - Ornaments

Image - A Deer Freind by Stamp and Create

I coloured this super cute image with copics and am pleased with the shading I achieved on her skirt. The ornament came together quite nicely, but I have a secret to share...the doily on the back of the ornament is a Halloween doily (it's orange with a spider in the centre, but when I flip it over it's white and works just fine for this little Christmas ornament)  I added some ribbon and a bow and matted the back of the ornament with red cardstock so it looks nice front or back.
