Funky Hair and another challenge at Kit and Clowder

It's time for the latest challenge at Kit and Clowder.

This time we are sponsored by The East Wind (TEW) and I had this lovely image Lucy Loo Bookaholic to play with.  You can find her here

Check out all the other wonderful images from The East Wind here.

I coloured up her hair with greens which is a bit out of my comfort zone for sure !!

That little cat reminds me of my Mystic, who passed away in June. I sure had fun with this challenge and this image was certainly a challenge for me to colour up.  Thank goodness I'm working away on the Skin and Hair class at Kit and Clowder and had an idea of where to put the cash shadows and how to flick a little thinner !!

Here'es the colours I used:
Hair - YG25, YG63, YG11
Skin - Alyce's Skin Colours E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, R20
Cat - C3 + R20
Feather - C3, Peacock Feather - YG25, YG63, V06, C3
Chopstick & heart charms - Y28
Heart - V01, V06
Book - V01, W1
Birds nest - Y28, B00
I hope you'll play along with us this time at Kit and Clowder and show us some funky hair !!
You could win 3 digi stamps of your choice from The East Wind.

If you need help colouring hair, check out the Skin and Hair Class offered at Kit and Clowder...I highly recommend it, and it's sooo much fun !!  There's a Clothing Class too, and a brand new Distress Ink Project Class as well, as well as a couple of other fun project classes !!

Have a magical day...

I created this card for a friend who's birthday is coming up soon. Can you guess the date based on the colour scheme? I bet you can !!

I love this image from Kraftin' Kimmie and have used it for a variety of cards!! Check out all the great stamps she has:
http://kraftinkimmiestamps.com/
I used a fussy cutting technique I saw on last week's Kraftin' Kimmie Tutes to cut this lovely fairy out around the circle. A gelly roll stardust pen was used to accent the wings and add little dots around the circle.

I'm entering it in the following challenges:
1. Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Wonderful Wednesday - last one to count for February
