A little Spring Thank you

I created this cute little Thank you card for the latest challenge over at Brown Sugar Challenges.
Spring
Sponsored by Crafty Sentiments

I used the image Henry which can be found here.

He reminds me of my little man.

I hope you like what I've created and are inspired to play along with us this week at BSCB for your chance to win a prize.

A loyal friend...

I had a lot of fun colouring this image from Dr. Digi

This week the challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog is Anything Goes

and our wonderful sponsor is Dr. Digi

I hope you like what I created and are inspired to join us this week at BSCB.
I am taking the All About Animals Class at Kit and Clowder and hope to improve on my colouring of fur, etc.

A little bit about my colouring journey...
If you've been following my blog at all you'll see that my colouring has improved in leaps and bounds since starting the Skin and Hair class.  over at Kit and Clowder.  I can't wait to get into the Clothing class soon (I've signed up and printed the class booklet, and done a little reading)

Here's a peek at my before and after images...
coloured after taking only part of the Skin and Hair Class

There's a wonderful new class All About Animals at Kit and Clowder...check it out

Happy Fall

It's getting to feel a lot like fall...at least here in Southern Ontario, the temperatures are starting to dive and nights are getting longer...so I was certainly in the mood to colour this fall card for the latest challenge at the Brown Sugar Challenge Blog

This week we are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish

I used this lovely image Happy Fall which can be found here.

I hope you'll pop over and play along this week for a chance to win a prize!!

Oh Happy Day...

...and another challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog !!

This week the challenge is pretty easy...it's Challenge #92 - Use 2 Patterned Papers!!

We are sponsored this week by Robyn's Fetish

I had this cute image to create with...

Isn't it just the cutest dancing flower EVER?? !!

I just love how cheery it is and toyed with several sentiments before settling on this "Oh Happy Day" one.

I hope you'll hop over to Brown Sugar and play along with us for this challenge.
Just create something with 2 patterned papers and you're all set to join in!!

Have a Happy Day !!

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

Hope your day is Par-Fect

How about a little GOLF Humour to start off your Easter Weekend (Good Friday)?
(The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Stamp set I got several years ago)

I was able to use this lovely digi from Dr. Digis called Golf Clubs for this card.

It's PAR-FECT for my Uncle's Birthday
(which is a long way off, but hey, always good to be done ahead, right?!)

I created it for the latest challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog

I used Burlap patterned paper on this card.  I had a piece of burlap to use, but in my messy-crafting ways and trying to tidy, I somehow mis-placed the real burlap, so I had to settle for this blue burlap patterned paper.  I'm pleasd with how it turned out.  The paper does look very textured in my opinion.
I used my new favourite embellishment - enamel dots made from melted Perler beads !!
Shhhh don't tell my son I raided his bucket of beads and made myself a nice little baggie of enamel dots!!

Well now it's up to you to play along this week with us at Brown Sugar for a chance to win a prize.

For you...a cup of tea and some sparkle too !!

I created this card for the latest challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog. Challenge #84 - Make it Sparkle

I used a cute image by Robyn's Fetish

I coloured it with my Copics and added some glitter...fussy cut it and added it to a large diecut scallop circle. I used some purple glittery mesh behind it, and a few gems from my stash to add to it. The tag "For You" is from Stampin' Up.

I hope you'll head over and play with us this week for a chance to win a prize !!
