I created this card to hold a crafty gift card for a special friend who's birthday is coming up very soon.  I coloured the image with copics and the circular sentiment is also from Scrapper's Delights.

Some winter fun...

Well it's that time again...winter is on it's way and here in Southern Ontario we got a good blast of it last week, but thankfully it's all melted away this past weekend...phew !!

Here's a cute card I created for the latest challenge at Craft Your Passion

Challenge # 240 - Baby it's cold outside

and after the week we've had here in Southern Ontario with snow and bitter cold, it's very appropriate!!

We are sponsored by Delicious Doodles and this image I used is called Penguin Family and be found here.

I simply printed this image and matted it on black cardstock and added some washi tape for the border and bow, added a few square rhinestones and voila it was done !!  What a lovely quick card don't you think?

Challenge #63 - Silver and Pink

using the image Cameo 1

I had fun colouring her up with my copics and her skin was a bit of a challenge for me as I printed the image quite large.  The roses were done using 3 shades of pinks and the feather is supposed to be silver (using some grays).  I matted her on a lovely shiny silver paper and managed to find some lovely bright pink cardstock to give it a bit of pop.

I was undecided about the sentiment, so I left it off.  This may end up being a birthday card for one of my nieces and at that time I'll stamp a sentiment inside or write a note.

I have to say that the Clothing Class at Kit and Clowder has helped me a lot, allowing me to colour clothing in a much more detailed and realistic way.

I coloured this wonderful image with copics and added a chalked background, which doesn't actually photograph very well, but looks nice "in real life".  The sentiment is a stamp from my collection of wood-mounted stamps.

If you've been following my blog at all you'll see that my colouring has improved in leaps and bounds since starting the Skin and Hair class.  over at Kit and Clowder.  I can't wait to get into the Clothing class soon (I've signed up and printed the class booklet, and done a little reading)

I created this cute card using the image Bucket full of Snowballs by Diane's Daydream Designs.

You can't see it very well but the snowballs are glittery and so is the snow and snowman on the bucket !!

I sure had fun colouring this up and creating this card...not sure who I'm going to send it too !!
