I made this gift card holder for my nephew's gift card

Whip up some sort of holiday gift wrap - could be a gift tag, bag or treat tin...

I used this cute WINTER PENGUIN TRIO mage from Bugaboo which can be found here.

I used a 10" x 4" piece of cardstock as the base
Scored it at 3", 4" 5" and 8"
cut patterned paper smaller to leave an 1/8" border around
Cut a slit in the small folded piece in centre to allow gift card to slip in, and glue edges and bottom to hold it (so it doesn't all out)
You can also put a band around the holder to keep it closed (but since I have an image on the front I'm using velcro closure (which I have to dig out of my craft room, thank goodness there's still a couple of weeks before Christmas for me to find that)

* Gingerbread Cookies - Use 2 Stripes, 3 Brads or Bling, 4 Layers

* Sugar Cookies with Sprinkles - Make your card a shape other than Square or Rectangle, 3 pieces of Bling & Ribbon

* Homemade Holiday Chocolates - Use ONLY cardstock, no designer papers, Embossing & 2 Layers

* Spiked Egg Nog - Use a Border Punch, Glitter & Polka Dots

* Candy Canes – Stripes & BLING

* Fruit Cake – Make it Funny & use ONLY scraps to create your card

I chose * CANDY CANES as you can probably tell !!

I used the image JJ Xmas - Merry Christmas from Bugaboo which can be found here.
The candy can is covered in stickles glitter (counting as the bling part of my card)

I coloured the image with copics and fussy cut it,

used a circle diecut to mount the Santa on

and cut the patterned paper to size to fit this sketch and it was done.

Day #1 - Here Comes Santa Claus

I used this cute Santa image from Bugaboo.

I coloured the image with copics and fussy cut it 

(okay, it wasn't too fussy to cut I know).

I added a Stamps of Life sentiment stamp and some red and white twine; 

rounded two corners and my card was complete.
