Stella Says Sketch...

Here's the sketch

Here's what I created

Iused the image Tulip Jar
You can get the image HERE in the Bugaboo Shop.

I turned the sketch on it's side for my card.

I coloured this image with Copics and used a new die to cut the scalloped border out.
I used an acrylic stamp from my stash for the sentiment.

I hope you are inspired by my creation!

Hope to see you play along with one of our challenges!

Butterfly kisses

I created this card for the latest challenge over at CAGI
Fun in the Sun
Sponsored by Oddball Art

I thought this image was so cute.  It's called Josie and the Butterflies and you can find it here.

I added some stardust pen stiching to the card and also some little sparkly dots
My new Wink of Stella pen was used on her outfit (hard to see in the photo)

I hope you like what I've created and are inspired to play along this week at CAGI.

Flyhigh...as the sky

I made this card for a special friend who has just recently finished off some treatments.  I'm sooo happy that she is done, and wanted to send her a little card wishing her well.

Don't you think this it the perfect card and sentiment for that, since Butterflies are signs of new beginnings?  I just know she's gonna love it.

It's also made for the latest challenge over at Inspiration Destination

Sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps

I used the image BUTTERFLY SILHOUETTE from Bugaboo which can be found here.

I coloured the flowers and dots in with copics and added some Stickles.

The sentiment is from The Stamps of Life by Stephanie Barnard.

I hope you like what I've created and are inspired to play along
this week with us at Inspiration Destination.

Thanks for popping over.

A Happy "Butterfly" Birthday card

Here's a lovely birthday card I created using one of the lovely butterfly images at Fitztown.

It's for the latest challenge at Fitztown - Challenge #46 - Step Cards

Here's a peek at the side view so you know how it's folded/standing:

I was very intimated by step cards not too long ago, but have come to love them.  I may make a little tutorial post on how to cut and score the base of the step cards so keep your eyes open for this coming soon.

I used this lovely image FAE 18 which can be found here.

I hope you'll give this challenge a try, and for some of you it truly will be a challenge; but one worth trying once you see the restuls.

Another challenge at Fitztown

First I need to apologize for this post being late...I'm struggling with technology lately and seem to be having issues with scheduling my blog posts.

Challenge #33 - Lots of Layers

Here's what I created for the latest challenge at Fitztown - Lots of Layers
It was very hard to photograph this well, so I've attached individual photos of each piece.

I used this wonderful set of butterfly images FAE 18 which you can find here !

I coloured them with my copics (bright pink and orange)
I matted them on pink and orange cardstock, added a layer of acetate with the printed words on it and matted each of those on black cardstock.

I attached the images together using bright pink satin ribbon from my stash.

I hope you'll head over the Fitztown Challenge Blog and play along with lots of layers for a chance to win a prize.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Fitztown Birthday Blog Hop on May 24th.
