I created this lovely card for the latest challenge over at

Oh boy...this challenge was a fun one.
It was a comedy of errors once I got the image coloured and started to create my card
First off, I put the image into my Big shot to diecut the stiching border (after I had coloured it)
and it slipped so it was cut off centre.
I decided I liked the colouring so much I couldn't dare throw it away, so I've used it.
Then I was stitching with red thread around it and ran out.
What does a crafty/creative person do when such a thing happens??
Colour white thread with copic marker to finish the project!
Crafty disaster averted!!
I'm not sure who will get this Christmas card this year...
but it has to be someone pretty special given all the FUN I had creating it!!

This is so cute. A total Lynn Penguin card.
ReplyDeleteOh my I have had things like that happen to me before. Sometimes you just have to find the solution especially when it's colored so nicely. Other times..........sling it across the room like a frisbee.
This is such a darling card. I think we all have had things like this happen in one form or another. You are lucky you still were able to save your lovely creation. :)
